Article Focus: In this video tutorial, Creative Cow Leader Jeff Bellune guides you on a trip from Adobe Premiere Pro to Adobe Encore using the Debugmode Frameserver plug-in. Adobe Encore CS4 added a new feature that allowed a live Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 sequence to be added to an Encore DVD or Blu-ray project. But what about Encore version CS3 or earlier? The Debugmode Frameserver lets you send a Premiere sequence to older versions of Encore without having to first render an intermediate file from Premiere.
I'm working with a DV Widescreen project from Premiere. The footage gets frameserved to Encore, however Encore interprets the footage as 4 x 3 aspect ratio instead of 16 x 9 widescreen.
Is there a way to force Encore to go 16 x 9 or interpret the frameserved AVI as widescreen?
Thanks
-Charley
No apology necessary

Eran,
I didn't feel any disrespect at all! My response was an attempt to be humorous by making a pun about "frame" and "serving". I think my little joke may have been lost in translation as well. :-)
I really do appreciate you taking the time to watch the tutorial, and to comment on it. I'm flattered that you think it was well done.

I didn't mean to disrespect you, it's just that the only people I know who still uses CS3 are some of my students. Once again to clarify, This is a fantastic tool and very effective workaround. I think you have a fresh and unique style and I'd like to see more Tutorials from you - Sorry if it was lost in translation :-)
