Rick Gerard presents a five minute tutorial movie as the first in a series that teaches basic After Effects Camera animation. In this first example you'll learn how to simplify animating a camera over a still image and how to control where the camera is looking by tracking the movement of a null with a simple expression.

Introduction
This is the first in a series of free tutorials designed to introduce you to efficient techniques that will improve your After Effects skills and improve your workflow. A Printable Recipe Card is included to help you follow along. Keyboard shortcuts and tips for nearly every step are on the card. The tutorial movie lasts five minutes. Completing the project from scratch should take less than twenty. Numbers in the upper right corner of the movie match the steps on the recipe card. I hope you find it easy to follow along.
