10 of the best filters video editing packed into 4 tapes by the creator of Evolution Brian Maffitt. Pick these tapes up before they are gone, as they are trying to get rid of inventory as the tapes are a few years old.
Adobe bought the rights to the Evolution plug ins and have carbonized most of them for Mac OSX. Even with all these changes the content on the tapes is fresh and will show you how to really use and understand the settings of these powerful filters.
I personally use Colorama now rather than 3 other plugs to adjust color, and it is much deeper and has hidden features you won't find. Wave World and Caustics will have an entirely new meaning and purpose for you.
Shatter was already a favorite plug in of after effects users, learn tricks for imploding and even using Shatter to extrude 3D type without having to purchase Zaxwerks Invigorator. The only thing missing is on the tapes is how to properly create custom maps. Use the colors RGBCMYK to define shapes, rather than a grayramp, this will give you the ability to specify the separation of adjacent solid objects.
Multiplane is the only tutorial you will want to skip, as Adobe now has 3D built into After Effects, therefore eliminating the need for multiplane. The content on the tapes is very well organized and divided.
Tape 1: Shatter
Tape 2: Card Wipe, Card Dance, Colorama
Tape 3: Radio Suite, Vegas, Multiplane
Tape 4: Wave World, Caustics, Foam
Brain Maffitt will pull down each setting and give you an explanation of how it really works. If you purchase the What's New In After Effects 5 from Total Training, most of the Evolution content is on there.

At $79 this is the best deal in town on the best filters for video editing.
