Comments | | | | Hi there!
Thank you for this great tutorial!!! :) I got the problem though. When trying simulating the water flow, it reaches some exact point (like 72nd frame out of 200 and around 30.000 particles out of 80.000) and aftewards it stops and simulates backwards. All water is gone. where is my problem, can you help me?
| | | | dear sir
i have problem with nextlimit sd exporter..
i did as your tutorial says with the project downloaded from here.
error message "please select at least one object" it says . can you pleas guid me
| | | | Hey chris, very great tutorial.
i got a question though. when i make my text. (spline -> extrude -> make editable -> connect them all the parts) and export the sd and import it into realflow. its hudge!
i tryd scaling it down in C4D, but still its very big. calculating the water is taking ages. and i got a good laptop (2.66GHZ / 4GB of ram + a 2gb HD videocard. so that is not the problem i think. and its i think not even 5% AS FAST as it goes when you simulate it.. so whats is the deal? do you have a super computer? am i doing something wrong? i hope you understand me :)
Greetings, Ted | | | | |
| | | | Hi Chris this is a great tutorial and I'd love to try it..
I've installed the demo version of Real Flow, but when I try to load up Cinema 4D with the plug-ins installed it crashes on start up. Am using the correct plugin, correct version, right directory.
Any clues?? Anyone else experiencing this?
| | | | Hi Abu,
Try to create your mesh in C4D and export to RF like I did in the video...then after you simulate in RF import it back into C4D using the SD import plugin.

| | | | Hi Chris,
Great job and nice tutorial. I have a question, after making fluid effect in Real Flow, could we import liquid mesh in Maya. Actually I am Maya user not familiar with Cinema4D. This seems possible in Maya but I am just making sure from you. Please let me know. Thanks
Best Regards,
