In this video tutorial, Creative Cow leader Michael Park demonstrates how to create a waterfall using After Effects and Trapcode Particular. This tutorial is in response to a couple of posts on the Trapcode Forum of CreativeCOW.net looking for this type of effect. This tutorial uses Particular 2.0, but the work flow and settings should work equally will with previous versions of Particular.

Hi everybody, i confirm that is a great tutorial, but i do this effect with blood and i'd like to end the fall like if you stop the water in your bathroom, the water fall. So if someone can answer me, that would kind from you !

Sure, just keyframe the particles per second from whatever rate you have to 0 on the frame you want to cut off the water/blood.

Hi, thanks to answer !
When i go in the menu emitter, i start from, for example 3s and i end the blood by keyframe 0 at 6s, but i still can see the blood dripping, is there another thing to configurate or modify
