Serpentine and Shape layers
by Zax Dow on Sep 19, 2009
Hi Tom,
AE doesn't give Serpentine the vectors from a shape layer. Text layers, vector masks, and imported Illustrator files work fine but not shape layers. In the tutorial Eran created his stars from the Webdings font. So even though they look like stars they are still text layers. (nice trick, huh?)
Another masterpiece by Eran. Quick question. I am using CS3 and Serpentine doesnt seem to read the shape layers correctly. When I select a star layer the whole screen fills with a gradiated blue color. I then tried to precompose but got the same result. Any ideas?
