Sony Vegas | Creating Text in Sony Vegas Pro 11
There are two new text plug-ins in Vegas 11: "Titles & Text" and "NewBlue Titler Pro." In addition, there are some user interface changes in the "ProType Titler" that has been around since Vegas 8. Finally, the "Legacy Text" plug-in is still supported. In this tutorial, Creative COW leader Michael Hurwicz devotes a couple of minutes to each of these, giving you a quick overview of text options - old and new - in Vegas 11.

Sony Creative Software had a fruitful NAB 2012, introducing two particularly interesting audio and video editing tools: Spectral Layers, which lets audio professionals precisely de-construct and change an audio mix, and TemplateBuilder, which maximizes creative time spent on motion graphics. In this tutorial, Satish Kumar demonstrates the famous Matrix style Bullet-time effect in Vegas Video: A man leaps in the air with a gun, fires a shot, and then hovers in the air while the camera moves around him 180 degrees. To create this effect, we have the shot of the man leaping in the air as a video and 6 still shots of him in the air at different angles.
