Andy, I've used Motion to create a timecode burn, and exported it to FCPX, and what I do is attach it as a clip (Q)to the first frame of the project's timeline, then use the duration contextual menu command to extend it to the end. Problem, however, as you can see from attached photos, is that it doesn't start at 0:00:00;00...why is that and what can I do to fix it? First picture shows it set up in Motion, second shows it on storyline, but the timecode burn is 3;15 out so it's 0:00 is not at the beginning of the clip....Michael in Vancouver

I wish I had seen this tutorial before I had to build and animate extreme close-ups of a 3-d-looking vault combination lock dial being worked, in Motion 3. Would have been a big help:-)
