Re: Motion Quick Tip - Creating Effects for FCP X
by Fred Jackson
Hi Andy, firstly thanks for another great tutorial for Motion 5.

One thing though, after building the effect and testing it in FCPX I then went back into Motion and tried to adjust the values for the Fade In / Fade out but unfortunately Motion kept crashing. I first noticed this when I clicked back on the small BLUE markers for the Min Max settings in the behaviours Tab for the Widgets. I have sent some crash reports to Apple. But wondered if you had experienced this problem, if not have you tried to go back and re-adjust the setting for the Fade Widgets ?

Regards

Fred

Users of FCP7 will be familiar with Sharing, a great way to not only export your work, but do it in the background, so you can keep working. In this tutorial, Kevin P McAuliffe shows you how to "Share" your final product not only with FCP 7 and FCP X, but also with other NLE's as well.
