Re: Text to Sand using Particular

Hey, what would I do if I wanted the opposite? Like the sand forms the text rather than destroys it. I want it still going left to right though. I did this once before but have no clue how I did it now. Anyone who can help, I'd be appreciative. I only followed the tutorial up to the falling onto the table part as that was all I needed.

Is this like slow menacing smoke along the floor or does it take up the whole hallway?
Re: Tutorial: Text to Sand using Particular

Hello Michael, well done, I really liked this tutorial.

I have a question, I am trying to recreate a hallway fire and I am having a hard time making the smoke look/behave realistically. I am trying to create black smoke that travels the hallway. Do you have any suggestions or know of any tut that can help me with this?

I am pretty new using particular and I am trying to experiment with all the settings. I am using particular 1.5 on CS3. I know Particular 2.0 is a more powerful plug in but I have not upgraded my CS package yet and I don't have time b4 this project ends.

Thanks you so much,

Antonio
