Wrapping up day three of NAB with Ryan Salazar finds a look at GoPro, Blackmagic 4K Production Camera, Adobe, Pelican Cases, Induro and more.

While the first and second days of the 2013 NAB Show were astounding, the third day got better and better I was able to take some time today and do a few things around the Show Floor today. See me testing out the miniature racing set - I don't think I won any of the races, because the flag-waving model had been practicing for many hours before I got there! It was great fun, though! I don't think that Jimmie Johnson has ANYTHING to worry about!

My final appearance on NAB LIVE! 2013 was shot earlier today, and it shows me having a little more fun around the Show Floor - which you can see if you've missed it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAydIfDsNFw&feature=youtu.be. THANK YOU, gang, for all your hard work in making me look SO GOOD! Looking forward to next year!

Getting back to THIS year, however, I have my very own list of "Top 5" products that should be greater than they are (in my opinion)...Be sure to check them out and go to the company websites to see how incredible these products really are! Such as:

Pick 5 = Induro Dual Range (DR) Hi-Hat TableTop Tripod Sets are unique support systems that are so versatile that they work for both still cameras as well as video platforms. Available in both 75mm and 100mm models, these guys are the ticket when you need the tripod to sit on an unlevel surface, say, stair. "When you're on stairs and you need to level-out, you need the type of stability and you want to be able to level-out, well, you can't do that with your standard tripod - you need Induro," says Victor Ha, Technical Sales Manager. See more at: http://www.indurogear.com/products_catalog_DR-Hi-Hat-Tripod-Set.html.

Pick 4 = Pelican Products and their padded backpack protector cases were all over the Exhibit Floor - so many different configurations available - it's unreal! If you've got a sensitive electronic device, then Pelican Products has thought of a way of encasing it for its own protection! The backpacks were interesting enough - but the rest of their products... well, you'll just have to check-out their entire line of protection here: http://www.pelican.com.

Pick 3 = GoPro Hero 3 Camera "It shoots up to 120 fps in 720p and 2.7k HD at 24, 25, and 30 fps," says David - whom I spoke to at the GoPro booth. So many options - the White edition, with its 5MP / 3 fps Burst or the Silver edition, featuring 11MP / 10 fps Burst or how about the Black edition, sporting 12MP / 30 fps Burst! With the most popular framerates and accessories available, your action videos will look like you had a professional cameraman attached to you! Rush over to the website to see more here: http://gopro.com/hd-hero3-cameras.

Pick 2 = Adobe Products - Creative Cloud. "The Creative Cloud is really exciting," says Jason Levine, of Adobe. "It's a new way to access all the amazing applications that you know and love from Adobe - everything from Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator... it all lives in one place; but it's not just applications - it's tools and services." And more. The best thing about the Creative Cloud is that it's online and subscription-based, meaning that by paying a small monthly price, the entire Adobe Suite is open for your use! A fantastic opportunity not only for beginning artists, but also for teachers and students! Peruse the possibilities at: https://www.adobe.com/uk/products/creativecloud.html.

Pick 1 = Blackmagic showed off its Blackmagic Production Camera 4K - the one with the 35mm sensor-size. "It looks really similar to our currently-shipping Blackmagic Cinema Camera," says Dan May, President, Blackmagic Design. "A lot of people are excited about it!" The Ultra HD Production Camera 4K helps you shoot TV or 4K films. You get a large Super 35 size sensor with professional global shutter combined with precision EF mount optics, high quality visually lossless compressed CinemaDNG RAW and Apple ProRes 422 (HQ)(TM) file recording. So much more can be seen at the Blackmagic website by clicking here: http://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/blackmagicproductioncamera4k.

I was asked whether being on the Show Floor could really elevate a brand's name. Definitely! There are so many success stories of companies that have appeared at NAB Shows and have shot to industry stardom. GoPro is one of them. They've been around for years, and they just keep getting bigger and better - with out-of-this-world high-speed action cameras.

Oh yeah... and I had to include the shark photo AGAIN! I just HAD to...

Well, as they say "in the biz" - Day Three is in the can! FANTASTIC day! I appeared on Livestream's LIVE from NAB 13 "studio" within their NAB Booth (which you can see if you've missed it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6QZKXBgoqc&feature=youtu.be). And view Day Two's video of me hanging with the NAB LIVE! 2013 crew here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yulasDZ5_q4&feature=youtu.be.
