Panasonic BT-LH910 9 inch Broadcast Monitor
The world is full of broadcast monitors these days, but Panasonic’s new BT-LH910 9" monitor is a standout. It's got a stunning picture, an extreme viewing angle, and a form factor that’s small enough to still work in the field, but big enough to still work in a studio. It’s also got some very unique features that 3D shooters will find helpful.

3ality Digital Introduces Simplified Stereo 3D Production
With higher ticket prices and box office boffo, stereoscopic 3D (S3D) has succeeded in feature films, but S3D production has sputtered elsewhere, particularly when it comes to live concerts and sports -- both of which are cited as potential blockbuster content for audiences. Now, 3ality Digital is attempting to change all that with the introduction of new software technologies: IntelleCal and IntelleCam, which are part of the 3space suite of products to be launched at NAB 2011.

"If only problems stayed in boxes," Tim Wilson muses over the "Making It Up Issue" of Creative COW Magazine. He's also okay with a bunch of new problems. Making things up as you go along means that what looks like the end of the road doesn't have to be the end of the story.

Reproducing Rainbows: Color in the Digital Environment
As digital photography and cinematography reach further into the digital media landscape, and your captured images can be viewed on a vast range of media, the need for standardizing color has become more invaluable than ever. Imagine trying to get a consistent hue of green or blue or teal across multiple platforms.
So, it becomes easy to understand why it's important to have a color reference chart for each new scenes' lighting conditions. All of the formats carry specific gamma and color spaces to reproduce color. The chart is the point of agreement. In this review, David Battistella reviews the RED Cambook from DSC Labs, which readily addresses these concerns. Read on for David's findings...
