Re: Lite Bite for Photoshop: Creating Custom Actions
by Tosca Lahiri
Hello, I am creating an action set that opens a file in which I have created layers as variables to do pixel replacements. The data set is a txt file. And all works OK when I do it manually. However, not all the actions are being recorded.

I have the actions working as far as image>variables>data sets. But after that the commands are not being recorded. I have tried insert menu item but going further than “data sets” is not being recorded. So," import>select file>ok>use first row as... >replace existing data>ok>apply>ok" is not being recorded.
How should I be doing this please?

Thanks, Tosca

COACM: Plug In, Tune Out

Adobe created quite a stir when it recently announced a public beta for the next major update to Photoshop. Is this the result of some very smart marketing, or perhaps an act of desperation, due to the harsh economic realities facing most creatives these days? What is the future of this critical production tool?
