Includes a detailed run through of masking techniques in photoshop to help convincingly apply depth of field of any strength using the CoreMelt Depth Blur Z Mask plugin. We've also included some footage and a sample FCP project for you to work with, and you can try the technique out using our trial version of CoreMelt Luminous.

It does seem to take a little experimentation with the mask to make sure the perspective on the depth is correct for the look to be proper.
