In my experience, many AE users don't know how to view, apply and edit the free presets that ship with AE to kick-start their projects and save time. In this video tutorial you will learn how to quickly find and apply presets to get that professional look you're after.

Hi Nancy

Unfortunately, there isn't a list of the tutorials in order as I started putting up tutorials before I thought about creating a system for them. The numbered tutorials are for beginners although they do give a thorough grounding in the basics for those who know a little but want to know more. The nu-numbered tutorials are usually the more advanced tutorials – especially for After Effects - and if you are only starting it may be better to come back to some of those after doing the basics series first.

That said, this link http://library.creativecow.net/articles/devis_andrew/ will give you a list of everything I've done on Creative Cow and may help you work out what you want to cover and what to leave.

Incidentally, the AE Basics series is still in production with one tutorial coming out each week -usually on a Wednesday, so do look out for them. At the moment I am going through text creation and animation over the next several weeks.

I hope this helps, and thanks once again for your kind comments.

hi andrew -

i like your style and pace of the tutorials; if i want to start from the beginning and view all your lessons, is there a list from start to end? i know some are numbered, but others not

thanks for your help -
