Thank you so much. I didn't know this was possible and I can think of times when I could really use it. I appreciate your time and the way you presented the information. I may use this technique to day in a project. Many thanks!

Hi Jesse,
Nice tutorial, thanks for sharing! A couple subtle clarifications:
1) Shatter maps won't ignore black, they ignore transparency. So early on when you mention that the black pixels get ignored, you are actually seeing the result of transparent pixels, because your background color is set to black.
2) Shatter maps posterize the source image into eight colors: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Blue, Green, Red, White, and Black. Those are the only important colors to consider when making a Shatter map, and anything else will be "clamped" to those colors inside Shatter. You can turn off "interpolate palette" in Colorama to force the primaries in the shatter map, which will give you an excellent visual preview of the results. I'll add black and white elements as I see fit--as you did with the company logo.
I'm so happy to see Shatter and Colorama still used so frequently!

What Are Adobe Motion Graphics Templates?

A Motion Graphics Template, referred to as a MOGRT, is an animated sequence that is self-contained and can be used in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Premiere Rush and Adobe After Effects, combining graphics, text, audio and video files, as well as vector or still images (including logos), to create a still or animation that can then be customized by the MOGRT user.
