Cancelling the render?
by Lee Legg
These tutorials are great Paolo. I've been doing 2 or 3 a day since I first found them. I had almost lost hope that there was a tutorial out there that was actually for us beginners.

My only question for now is, Is there a way to stop the render process after you've started it? I'm using Windows, and if I click the "X" button to close the render window, it doesn't do anything while it's still rendering, if it's 1 frame or a whole animation. If I forget to do something, I don't want to have to wait a long time for it to finish before being able to change and redo the render.

Again, thanks for these lessons. You really do a good job of helping us understand what we are actually doing when we follow your steps. I've seen other tutorials that just give steps, but don't explain why we are doing those steps. Great work!

Hi Lee, I'm glad that the BSG is working for you. To cancel the render press Esc. Press it another time to close the window.

Cheers.
Great

Finally got round to watching this and as usual it's great.
Keep it up!
Hopefully I can catch up on all the videos before I get busy again.

Holy Cow!
by Jesse Lee
Amazingly useful. Thanks very much Paolo for making these free tutorials which are easily better and more informative than some I've paid to see!

I'm really excited that I can actually begin to use blender with my video and compositing work.

Again, thank you!
Scratch disk?
by terry brown
Hi Paolo,
Thanks so much for the great tutorials, I'm learning a lot! Should I be concerned about setting up a scratch disk (in AE and FCP I render to a separate hard drive)?
This is wonderful, thank you so

It just keeps getting better and better.!!!

the way you explain things are very good and easy to understand.

you need to get a Grammy for your acting.

because even this is beginner work for you, you make it sound that you are truly exited with the results, as a beginner do when we make something and actually works..

keep up the good work...thank you!!!!!!
