Hello Brian

thx for the Lightgrid script (and update). Fits exactly what I needed.
I tried to make it work with Trapcode Lux today and I don not manage to get any volumetric light from the lightgrid lights.
Any suggestions?
Thx
Jan

Hello Brian,

Thanks for the quick response.
Too bad I can not use it.
Maybe in the future when I have the money for an update.

Great script btw.

Sorry about that, I should have mentioned the version limitation in the tutorial. Thanks.

I've just done a quick conversion to CS5.

No circle or point lights, just spot lights.

If you'd want here is the script: 7630_cs5lightgrid.zip

Hello Brian,

Thank you for the conversion.
I tested it and it works.

Kind regards,

Yes, the script only works with CS 5.5 and above. Adobe included the ability to address different light types after CS5.

Hi,

I am using AE CS5 version and I get an error when running the script.

"Unable to execute script at line 6. LightType is undefined"

thanks,
D
