Hey Andrew

back in CS3 I used to be able to use quick search with any of the fields in the bin (like status where you could search "online" and "offline")

seems like this changed as of all the metadata stuff in cs4.

u gonna address that at all?

I'd like to learn more about it!

Hi Alex

I didn't cover it as I was just going for a simple tutorial and I'm struggling to keep things down in time, but in CS5 you can still search online and offline and find footage in exactly the same way as you could in CS3. The metedata thing is just to give you even more options - as far as I am aware none of the other options have been lost! And, with the metadate you can even search for words in the description section etc .... Basically, it's the same and more ...

Hope this helps
